Classes and Workshops:
Introductory, Intermediate,
and Advanced

At regular intervals--usually from September through May each year--Awen offers classes in her home (in Tacoma, WA) for a small group of students (no more than 15 students per session). In addition, since COVID has entered our lives, Awen also offers Independent Studies and classes by way of Zoom meetings. These Independent Studies and classes are also available to students who live outside of the Tacoma area.

The initial classes are introductory, and meant for the beginning student, or the solitary witch who is practicing alone, but who would like to learn more. New class sessions begin 1 to 2 times per year--once the previous session has ended, and once a minimum of 5 students have enrolled. Independent Studies normally begin in September, but starting dates for these sessions are flexible. Please see below for information on Intermediate and Advanced Independent Studies.

In these classes, Awen covers the fundamentals of the Craft, and topics include such things as The History of Witchcraft; Living a Magical Life; The Ethics of Magic; Developing a Spiritual and Magical Relationship with the Natural World; The Celtic Wheel of the Year; Meeting and Working with One's Guides and Ancestors; The Divine, the Elementals, and the Interconnected of All; Circle Casting; Conducting Rituals; Initiation and Dedication; Spellcrafting; Traveling; and Working with Spirits; among others.

If you are interested in learning more about these classes, or in talking with Awen about registering for a session, please email us at:

nelsonaweninisfail@icloud.com

or text/call us at: (253) 905-3117 (texting is preferred!)

We will generally reply in less than 24 hours to texts, and less than 48 hours to emails.

For intermediate to advanced students who have taken the introductory class and wish to continue their studies, Awen schedules Independent Studies on areas in which the students have shown an interest and an aptitude.
